St. Patrick’s day is coming up and this week I have a perfect smoothie for you guys. Forget that shamrock shake from McDonald’s and make a healthier avocado smoothie. Did you know the original color for St. Patrick’s day is blue not green. In most paintings he is shown wearing blue clothing.
Step 1: Cut up one avocado and place it into the blender. Add in the sugar. Okay this isn’t that healthy of a smoothie because some sugar was added into it, but hey it’s only a little amount.
Step 2: Add in one cup of milk. Then blend. For this step don’t blend it up too much because we still have to add in ice later. The reason why I blend up the avocado with the milk and sugar first is to have it all mixed up. It will also be easier to add in the ice after most of the avocado has been blended up.
Step 3: After blending add in a hand full of ice. Then blend till the smoothie is smooth.

- a hand full of ice
